Evil Geniuses says goodbye to CS
Reputed esports organisation and one of the better known Counter-Strike teams, Evil Geniuses (EG) have announced their departure from Counter-Strike, closing the door on a mixed journey.
This marks the end of their Counter-Strike journey for the second time after picking up the NRG roster in September 2019. Although they impressed early on, the past couple of years have been tough for the organisation with the CS team failing to put up respectable results. Along with poor results in the server, the organisation has also been accused by former staff of mismanagement and they pointed out a poor work environment as a whole.
EG had already parted ways with autimatic and Walco last week, who were the final members of the Counter-Strike division to leave with the other players being let go over the period of the last couple of months.
EG's BLAST Premier spot was also recently bought by Cloud9 after they had their Louvre Agreement terminated.
Evil Geniuses revealed that valens will remain with the organisation and take up the role of Head of Gaming.
