MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025: preview

All the qualifiers have concluded and all invitees have been announced as the final eight teams lock-in to take stage in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025. The tournament kicks off on 30th April 2025 and will run for five days.

SAW, HEROIC, BIG and B8 have accepted direct invites to the main events while TYLOO cleared the Chinese qualifier, The Huns made it through the Mongolian qualifier, Chinggis Warriors were awarded a slot after winning the MESA League Season 4 and JijieHao cleared the Asian qualifier.

The event begins with a Swiss system format where all games are bo3s. The top four teams head into a single-elimination bracket playoffs which concludes with a bo5 grand-final. The winner walks away with $135,000 USD out of the $250,000 USD prize pool. The playoffs will also hold a dedicated third place decider match.

Opening round matchups are yet to be revealed but from the looks of things, each invited team likely faces a qualified team in the first round. The group stage takes place in MESA's LAN Studio and the playoffs will be held in an arena open to live audience.
