BetBoom replaces Liquid at Skyesports Masters 2024

Liquid had withdrawn due to scheduling conflict

With Liquid being announced as a replacement team for IEM Chengdu 2024 and withdrawing from the Skyesports Masters 2024 main event, Dust2 India has learnt that BetBoom will be replacing Liquid at the event.

The $350,000 online event had BetBoom finish second in the recently concluded Skyesports Masters 2024 Europe Closed Qualifier, going down 2-3 in the BO5 Grand Final. With nafany and co. finishing second, they will secure a spot in the main event as per Skyesports' decision.

Team Liquid has withdrawn from the Skyesports Masters 2024 due to a scheduling conflict. They will be replaced by BetBoom Team, the second-placed team in the EU Closed Qualifier.
The Skyesports Masters 2024 will continue as planned from April 8 to 14 with a $350,000 prize pool.
A Skyesports spokesperson stated

Just a couple of days ago the event was shifted to online from its original LAN plan with the tournament organiser stating that with the Indian general elections around the corner, the availability of a venue with other issues turned out to be a big problem for them to host the event in India. Skyesports has stated that the Indian Qualifier winner will be flown out to Serbia for the main event, and will bootcamp in Serbia whilst participating in the online event.
