Rare Atom locks in BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 spot
The Grand Final of the 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2024 BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Qualifier saw TYLOO take on Rare Atom with a spot at the Fall Showdown waiting for the winner.
Rare Atom started Anubis by running away to a 10-5 lead before TYLOO's defence finally got going and they brought it to a one round game. The final round of regulation saw Rare Atom turn around a man-deficit situation and with TYLOO over-rotating, Rare Atom pushed a one-man A-site hold to lock in a 13-11 win.
Inferno was all Rare Atom, as their defence saw them start the second map with nine-rounds in a row before Mercury and zhokiNg gave TYLOO their first. JamYoung denied AhaNg a 1v2 to see TYLOO end the half with two rounds. While TYLOO picked up the second pistol, they fumbled against the force buy which was the final nail in the coffin. Rare Atom wasted no time to close out Inferno at 13-3 to lock in the Grand Final with a 2-0.
The win sees Rare Atom secure their spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024. The likes of M80, AMKAL and Zero Tenacity have already booked their spot in the event. The online event will take place between August 21 - August 25, 2024 and the top two teams from the Fall Showdown will move into the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024.
