HEROIC's map win taken away
During the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 20 game between Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) and HEROIC, the latter had their opening map win taken away from them in a bizarre turn of events.
HEROIC won the opening map on Ancient 13-10 put in a stunning series of events, shortly after the opening map concluded, it was revealed that HEROIC's win was overturned as they were using Snap Tap. Shortly after ESL released a statement which read that since they had prohibited the use of Snap Tap, after finding out that one of HEROIC's players was using Snap Tap, the map was handed to NIP.
The announcement was first made during the live broadcast where Dinko stated that the map had been overturned following HEROIC being caught using Snap Tap. The second map, which took place on Nuke, saw HEROIC bounce back to take a 13-7 win and the series will head to the decider on Vertigo.
It remains to be seen if there will be any further action taken by ESL on the matter. ESL did not reveal who the player was, who was caught using Snap Tap.
