Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 16: Preview

Three Indian teams and one Pakistani team will be battling it out in the Dust2 India-1XBET Masters 16 as they four teams fight it out for the $1500 prize pool.

India's #1 team and the most successful team in the Masters' history, Gods Reign will be the favourites while Pakistani super houses st4rboys will also be in action once more. The 16th edition of the Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters will also have Project Lethals and Indian Gamers in the Masters debut.

The Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 16 is set to take place tomorrow, November 19, 2024 at 11:00 IST.

Gods Reign vs Indian Gamers - 11:00 AM IST

Indian Gamers are the biggest surprise team in the Masters 16 with the Indian squad, who only have a handful of tournaments under their belt making the top four over more prominent teams. Indian Gamers qualified through the Open Qualifier 32, taking down Unity Gaming (Ancient 13-9), before getting a walkover with VICTORES SUMUS participating in the AMD GameOn 2024 LAN playoffs. In their Round 3 game, the Indian squad faced Bangladesh's Red ViperZ, who were dispatched with ease at 13-5 on Nuke.

Indian Gamers on the other side will be taking on Gods Reign, who smashed ROG Academy 13-4 and then took down Niory Esports 13-9 on Mirage to make yet another Masters appearance. Fresh off a shock exit at the AMD GameOn 2024 in the semi-finals, Gods Reign will be raring to get back to winning ways.

Project Lethals vs st4rboys - 11:00 AM IST

Project Lethals were one of the first teams to book their place in the Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 16. They have had a relatively easy path to the Masters 16, getting two walkovers in the Open Qualifier 31 games against Chosen ones and Pakistan's WahWah.

On the other side, there is Pakistan's st4rboys, making their third Masters appearance after having finished runner-up in Masters 14 and in 3rd - 4th place in Masters 15. The Pakistani squad took down Niory Esports 13-9 on Anubis to kick off their Open Qualifier 32 campaign and then brushed aside SlowAimers 13-6 on Nuke to make it to their third consecutive Masters.

The Pakistani team are the favourites, given Project Lethals' lack of matches and the Indian squad would be coming in cold.
