Carnival Gaming stun Gods Reign
The first semi-final of the AMD GameOn, a LAN event in Hyderabad, kicked off between Gods Reign and Carnival Gaming.
The first map took place on Ancient, which witnessed an upset as Carnival Gaming took down Gods Reign in a dominant 13-5 fashion. hattygOD and Crazy_Gamer’s duo dominated on the T-side, combining for a total of 32 kills as they acquired a 9-3 half, and closed out the game with ease on the CT side.
Seeking revenge, f1redup went on a tear in the subsequent half Anubis, as Gods Reign managed to tie their CT side courtesy of his 1.78 rated performance. On their T-side, Gods Reign conceded a single round en route to victory, pushing the game to a third map after a 13-7 win.
The decider took us to Dust2, where Carnival Gaming was once again able to manoeuvre through the defences of Gods Reign effectively. hattyg0D was once again the pivotal player for Carnival Gaming, as they stunned Gods Reign in the BO3 after a 13-6 victory on the final map.
