Counter-Strike co-creator speculates on Valve's potential future plans

In an interesting conversation sparked on X, one of the creators of Counter-Strike, Mihn "Gooseman" Lee expressed how he wants Valve to add Asian models for the CT and the T-side. He then followed it up while jokingly saying, "why didn't I think of it when I was working on CS...doh".

For those of you who don't know, Gooseman is a Vietnamese-Canadian who was responsible for creating the Counter-Strike series when he co-created the first mod for the game in 1999. An HLTV interview back in 2013 revealed that Gooseman had started working on CS2 way back in the 2000s, but was put on hold by Valve. And then in 2006, he left the company to work on a personal project.

Now, going back to his conversation, Gooseman also mentioned that he believes Valve is redoing all the models and plans to reintroduce the map-based operators that were removed in 2023.
