Counter-Strike's co-creator to be present at HLTV Awards
We're just a month away from the HLTV Awards that'll take place in Belgrade, Serbia on 11th January 2025 and just like any other convention all eyes are on who takes these awards and who gives away the said awards. HLTV have been putting announcements in bits and pieces on who will be at the event.
The most recent revelation is a special one and his contribution to Counter-Strike dates all the way back to 1998 when some of today's pros weren't even born. Counter-Strike's co-creator Minh Le who goes by the alias "Gooseman" will be at the HLTV Awards as an announcer who will give away one of the awards.
Interested in gun play and military themed games, Minh Le and Jesse Cliffe began experimenting with Half-life until they made a new mod that was Counter-Strike in it's bare bones which would take over the tactical and competitive first-person shooter genre for the foreseeable future.
A few other announcers at HLTV announcers who have been revealed in the recent past include friberg, gob b, LucyLuce, SpawN, pashaBiceps and kennyS.
