Rossi put up a 2.53 HLTV rating on Train

"We are really confident in Train" - Rossi

God Reign took down VICTORES SUMUS 2-0

Gods Reign opened their account at the Skyesports Souvenir 2025 National Championship LAN playoffs with a convincing 2-0 over VICTORES SUMUS, booking their upper-bracket final against Flashback Gaming.

The series started with a dominant 13-2 win on Train for Gods Reign where Rossi put up a phenomenal CT-side and ended with Gods Reign recovering from a deficit on Dust2 in the second half to close the map 13-11 and wrap the series 2-0. After the game, Rossi spoke to Dust2 India about Gods Reign's approach on Train and their back to back post plant clutches on Dust2.

The first map went by in a blink, you never really gave them a chance to settle, talk us through train and your performance.

The main thing is we are really really confident in Train and we didn't do anything specific for this match, we were just playing our game and it just worked out well for us. I was hitting all my shots and it was just the regular stuff that we had practiced, nothing special.

You started alone on B most of the time on CT-Train, was that the plan all-along? Is that an area you're very comfortable with?

Mainly it depends on the opponents. We see how they move around and then I'm placed on a particular part of the map. I like to move around the map and be dynamic; I make sure I call-in early rotations as and when needed so that my teammates can react in time and utilize that space.

From a 5-7 half you guys caught up and then converted back to back 2v4s, talk us through your T-side on Dust2. What did you do differently?

Dust2 is not our good map, I can tell you that. We never give it our 100% in practice and never focus on that a lot, it's a sloppy map for us and has always been. The 2v4s- our boys were just hitting their shots and they were really confident with the way they were moving around the map.
