Home heroes send VP home from Melbourne; to face NAVI next for survival

The Aussies fly on for another day

FlyQuest, the home team at IEM Melbourne 2025, have kept themselves alive after a stunning 2-0 win over Virtus.pro in their Group B lower bracket game. After getting brushed aside by Vitality on the opening day, the Australian squad found some form against electroNic's Virtus.pro (VP), putting in a commanding performance to stay alive at IEM Melbourne 2025.

On their pick of Inferno, FlyQuest started strong early on their T side and closed it out with three on the trot to take a two round lead before holding off a comeback attempt to seal a 13-11 win. Dust2 was the regali show as after a tied opening half, a flawless defensive hold saw FlyQuest run away with a 13-6 win to seal the series 2-0.

Following Natus Vincere imploding against Falcons, FlyQuest will face aleksiB and co. in their lower bracket semi-final next while VP's event ends in 13-16th place after losses to Liquid and FlyQuest.
