Liquid outclass Complexity to go 2-2
Liquid's start to this Major was rough, and it didn't look any better in their game against Fluxo, where the team barely survived through the series 2-1. Coming into a domestic matchup, the team showed why they are the big dogs in NA.
The team showcased their dominance from the start on Anubis, securing clean rounds and displaying strong individual performances. The anti-eco rounds provided some tense moments, but Liquid managed to maintain their composure and keep Complexity at bay. With a flawless defence, Liquid extended their lead to nine rounds in a row before Complexity finally found their footing. Despite Complexity's efforts with double AWPs and a few rounds on the board, Liquid closed out the half with a commanding 12-3 lead. Complexity tried to mount a comeback in the second half, but Liquid's solid defence and timely plays secured them the victory at 16-11.
Liquid carried their momentum from the first map into Overpass, quickly taking a 3-0 lead. They continued their dominance throughout Complexity's gun rounds, displaying a strong defence and extending their lead to 8-0. Complexity managed to find an opener and make some headway, but Liquid remained unstoppable. Liquid outclassed Complexity and closed out the half flawlessly. Although Complexity secured the pistol round conversions, Liquid maintained their composure and comfortably closed the map with a commanding 16-3 victory.
Liquid finally are showing us some of their true form. They need to keep this momentum going as they head into their qualification match tomorrow. If this performance keeps up, Liquid can be a challenger for the trophy, but if they stumble, they will face heartbreak at the last Major in CSGO.
