Dates for first CS2 Major and RMR revealed

PGL have announced the dates for the Regional Major Ranking qualifiers and the Major itself for the inaugural CS2 Major, which will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark between February 2024 and March 2024.

The Europe RMR will get underway from February 14 and last till February 24. The Asia RMR will follow the European RMR, taking place between February 26 - February 29. The Americas RMR will be final RMR, which will be held between March 1 - March 4.

Regional Major Ranking qualifiers:

• Europe RMR - Feb 14 - 24, 2024

• Asia RMR - Feb 26 - 29, 2024

• Americas RMR - March 1-4, 2024

PGL CS2 Copenhagen Major 2024:

• Challengers Stage - March 17-20, 2024

• Legends Stage - March 21-24, 2024

• Champions Stage - March 28 - 31, 2024

The Major will get underway from March 17, when the Challengers Stage will start and that will last till March 20. The Legends Stage will be held between March 21 - March 24. The Champions Stage will be taking place between March 28 - March 31.

The playoffs will be held at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. With a prize pool of $1,250,000, the teams will be fighting it out for not only a hefty prize money but also the bragging rights to claim the honour of winning the first ever Counter-Strike 2 Major.
