HOTU cleans up JiJieHao to qualify for PGL Astana 2025

The final of the PGL Astana 2025 Asia Closed Qualifier saw HOTU take down JiJieHao in straight maps in the BO5 final to book their place at PGL Astana 2025.

The series kicked off with an overtime affair on Dust2, which saw HOTU take a 16-13 win with dukefissura on top of the scoreboard with 27 kills. Mirage was another tight affair that saw HOTU steal a 13-11 win, with kade0 on top of the scoreboard with 28 kills with an ADR of 116.8. HOTU started Ancient with a two round deficit on their CT half but a stellar T side saw the Russian team secure a 13-9 win to close the series in a 3-0 manner.

HOTU has now qualified for the $1,250,000 tournament, PGL Astana, which will be a 16-team LAN event in Astana, Kazakhstan with the likes of The MongolZ, NAVI, Spirit, G2, Astralis taking part. The event will take place between May 10 - May 18, 2025 and will follow a Swiss Bo3 group stage heading into a single elimination Playoffs.
