DreamHack Hyderabad 2023 Grand Final: Preview
After three days of intense LAN action, we finally have our two Grand Finalists, for the DreamHack Hyderabad 2023.
First up it is Marcos Gaming, who have dropped just one single map on their way to the finals and head into the finals with a clean 5-0 run at the LAN event. DEFAULTER and co., since Day 1 have been confident, aggressive and one of the contenders for the title. They hammered Revenant to start the Group Stages and cleaned up Team Respect as well to go 4-0 in the Groups and became the first team to qualify for the semi-final.
In their semi-final against Enigma Gaming, Marcos won in a dominating fashion on their own map pick and while Enigma managed to take a map off them, by the skin of their teeth, Marcos smashed Enigma 13-0 in the semi-final decider to secure their final spot.
Facing the unstoppable Marcos Gaming squad is Revenant Esports. It's been a comeback journey for Bhavi and co. in the event. They were comprehensively beaten on the opening day in the Group stages and were staring at elimination but buoyed by f1redup, they cleaned up Team Respect and then eased based Firedup Gaming in the second semi-final to secure the spot in the Grand Final.
The Grand Final is a rematch of the Group A opening two games and it will be Revenant looking to even out the score as they aim to pick up their first CS2 LAN trophy.
