Revenant Esports secures Grand Final spot

The second semi-final of the DreamHack Hyderabad 2023 saw Revenant Esports take on Firedup Gaming, with Firedup Gaming making it to the LAN semi-finals coming right from the online qualifiers.

Things got underway on Firedup's pick of Mirage with them starting on the T side. Nox kicked things off with a 1v3 to give Firedup the opening pistol. Both teams kept trading rounds and it was a close half at 7-5 with Revenant taking a two-round lead.

It was a close second half and even though Firedup took the second pistol on Mirage as well, Revenant held on with R2B2 putting in a stellar performance to help his team secure the opening map 13-10.

Revenant were looking to clean up the series 2-0 as they moved to their own pick of Anubis. Firedup got their CT side started with a 4-0 lead. Revenant though bounced back and ended the half with a 7-5 lead.

Firedup secured yet another pistol and went on to tie the score. Revenant though put up a stellar defence and it was an ELV1S quad kill in the 3v4 retake on the A site that put Revenant on match point. Revenant secured the map at 13-8 and won the second semi-final 2-0.

Revenant will now face Marcos Gaming in the Grand Final of DreamHack Hyderabad 2023.
