ROG Academy, 2EZ Gaming net wins in latest M88 Mansion Open games
Multiple Indian teams were in action yesterday in the M88 Mansion Open League Phase 2 Division 1 and 2 with a couple of teams also missing out due to their participation in NESC 2024 CS2.
ROG were up against 1plus4 in their Round 3 game, with their opponent's pick of Overpass getting the BO3 series underway. Following a 10-2 half, ROG wasted no time to secure a dominating 13-4 win to draw first blood in the series.
On ROG's pick of Inferno, it was a similar story as the Indian team started with another big lead at 9-3 and closed things out at 13-6 with ExZite topping the scoreboard with 23 kills inside 19 rounds itself.
2EZ Gaming was the other Indian team in action in the M88 Mansion Open League Phase 2 Division 2, with 2EZ facing nussaba paplern. nussaba paplern's pick of Overpass got the series underway with 2EZ trailing by two rounds in the opening half. A strong comeback led by Recoilmastr and bb1 saw 2EZ steal a 13-7 win to go 1-0.
On their own pick of Ancient, it was once again a close half, this time tied at 6-6 before the Indian team once again put in a strong second half to secure a 13-7 win to pick up the series 2-0.
Grayfox and True Rippers were also scheduled to be in action in the M88 Mansion Open League Phase 2 Division 1 yesterday but with both teams battling it out in the Lower Bracket Final of the NESC 2024 CS2, the teams forfeited their games.
Revenge Esports are the Indian representatives in the M88 Mansion Open League Phase 2 Division 2 and Zenovi and co. were in action as well yesterday against M3g-A.
Their BO3 series kicked off on the Indian team's pick of Ancient which went to triple overtime with M3g-A pipping Revenge Esports 22-20 to complete a comeback after being 4-8 down after the first half. The second map, Anubis, once again was a back-and-forth affair, and this time it was in second overtime that the result was decided as the Indian team went down 17-19.
