Elite Peekers CS2 Ignition Season 2 to boast $10k Prize Pool

Following the success of Phenomenon Advanced's inaugural CS2 tournament, Elite Peekers CS2 Ignition returns with a second season, boasting an amplified prize pool. While the initial event in February boasted a $5000 prize pool, the second season will elevate the stakes with $10,000 up for grabs.

Among the 8 teams invited to the tournament is reigning champions Myth Avenue Gaming (MAG), runners-up Dewa United, and the daunting Indian representative, True Rippers. MAG though, currently don't have an active roster and it remains to be seen which lineup represents them at the event. The tournament also feature's BnTeT's new team Bigetron, who entered the Counter-Strike scene a month ago.

Format

Group Stage:

• Two double-elimination format (GSL) Groups

• Each group has 4 teams

• Opening & Winners' matches are BO1

• Elimination & Decider matches are BO3

• Top two teams from each group advance to the Playoffs

Playoffs:

• Single-Elimination bracket

• All matches are BO3

The tournament kicks off on May 9th and will go on for 4 days, till May 12th. It will be streamed on Elite Peeker's Twitch channel and can be watched here.
