Blink Entertainment shuts operation

Blink Entertainment's CEO promises to clear all dues

Blink Entertainment's CEO, Chinmay "darktur" R. Deshmukh, announced on Twitter that the company will cease operations due to multiple stakeholders and clients failing to settle their payments. Blink Entertainment has been under fire for their payment delays with multiple talent and teams calling out the tournament organiser for failing to pay out the prize pools and pending payments.

Blink Entertainment is known for hosting various CS:GO and CS2 tournaments, including their main IP, the Blink Pro League, which has seen multiple known Indian teams take part including the likes of Gods Reign, Marcos Gaming, LOTGaming amongst others.

Earlier, caster Shakey, who has worked for Blink Entertainment, alleged that Blink has owed payments to multiple casters since October 2023. In his tweet, Chinmay promised to cover the remaining payments from his own funds.

Dust2 India reached out to Chinmay for further comments, but he declined to comment at the time of publication.
