Only Friends win Rush B tournament
The first edition of AA Gaming's latest Counter-Strike IP, the Rush B, tournament is over and Only Friends have emerged as the champions. The tournament saw eight team across the country battle it out for the ultimate glory.
Only Friends took down KingPins in the finals, as the former produced a dominating display in the one-sided final the win the title. Both teams had but in stellar performances leading up to the final but eventually it was Only Friends who stepped up on the final day. The best-of-five Grand Finals saw the action kick off on Only Friends' pick of Anubis, which Only Friends won 16-11.
The second map was KingPins' pick of Ancient, which saw Only Friends run through KingPins to secure the map at 16-4. KingPins managed to take the series to a fourth map as they scraped by on Mirage 16-14 but on Inferno it was a brawl as neither team wanted to give up. The match went into five over-times as Only Friends secured the map 31-28 and won the tournament as f1redup ended Inferno with 46 kills.
The tournament also gave a glimpse of the revival of Counter-Strike in India as it recorded more than 1.6 million viewers and 3 million impressions across all platforms.
