CAC 2025 details revealed

Perfect World has announced additional details about the CS Asia Championships 2025. The event is set to run as a LAN in Shanghai in mid October with the grand-final taking place on 19th October 2025. The tournament also returns with a bumped up prize pool.

The event's prize pool is set at $1,000,000 USD compared to a $400,000 USD prize pool from the previous iteration. This year's prize has been split up as follows:

• Club prize pool: $400,000 USD

• Players prize pool: $600,000 USD

The CS Asia Championships 2025 will feature sixteen teams in total. Ten of these teams receive direct invites through the Global VRS and six slots are allocated for teams to make it through the qualifiers. While all qualifiers are online, the Asian closed qualifier will run as a LAN in Shanghai over July and August.

The group stage of the CS Asia Championships 2025 will run double-elimination brackets across two groups. The group winners advance to the semi-finals, while the second and third placed teams will book quarter-final slots in the single-elimination bracket playoffs. A bo5 grand-final crowns the winner.

CS Asia Championships 2025 will take place in the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, the same venue that hosted the playoffs of the Perfect World Shanghai 2025 Major.
