The MongolZ fall to an unstoppable Vitality

The MongolZ were thrashed by red-hot Vitality in the IEM Melbourne 2025 semi-final as Asia's best team were blown away 0-2 to exit with a top four finish in Australia.

ZywOo kicked off The MongolZ's pick of Mirage with a quad-kill on the CT pistol for Vitality and Vitality showed why they are a cut above the rest as they bullied the Asian team, going 11-1, with The MongolZ managing to get the bomb down only twice in the entire opening half, picking up their only round right at the very end thanks to a B hit. A quick B shut down in the second half pistol gave The MongolZ their second round and the pistol and the following round conversion was all that bLitz and co. could manage on Mirage at Vitality stomped them 13-3 with none of The MongolZ players managing to hit double digit kills.

An early ropz 1v3 on Vitality's pick of Nuke saw apEX's boys start with another big T side, this time going 8-1 up before The MongolZ found their second CT round, which was all they could manage on their defensive hold. A second half pistol win for the Mongolian squad once again raised hopes of a comeback attempt but Vitality were clinical to close it at 13-3 to seal a dominant series 2-0.

Vitality will now take on Falcons in the Grand Final of the IEM Melbourne 2025 with their Grand Slam dreams just one win away. By making the IEM Melbourne 2025 Grand Final, it is also the fourth consecutive grand final appearance for Vitality.
