Heroic extract revenge from GamerLegion
Heroic's ruthless aggression on the CT-side got them off to a 5-0 start on Inferno, with GamerLegion being caught off guard round after round. Heroic were perfectly positioned for every possible scenario as things were spiraling out of control for GamerLegion. cadiaN's AWP was online, shutting down any T-entry attempts consistently. 8 rounds into the match, GamerLegion secured their first round, brute-forcing their way into the B-site.

After conceding 2 rounds, Heroic went for a double AWP setup, regaining winning ways and reaching double figures at 10-2. TeSeS, on the CT-side was proving to be a nightmare for GamerLegion. Heroic ended the half 12-3 and switching over, Heroic barely broke a sweat, closing out Inferno with a quick 16-3 and going 1-0 up in the series.
Going into Vertigo, volt looked super sharp on the T-side, taking GamerLegion off to a 5-0 start. GamerLegion never let Heroic's economy grow, leaving them operating with concessions even at max loss bonus. cadiaN's AWP is a crucial part of Heroic's defense but it took him 6 rounds put his name on the score board. Heroic's second round came from a close 1v1 at 6-2 but GamerLegion showed no signs of slowing down.
Heroic adjusted themselves to counter GamerLegion's fast paced approach and were more patient, stringing up a few more rounds towards the end to secure a respectable 6-9 half on the CT-side of Vertigo. Heroic won their T-side pistol and converted the follow-up but GamerLegion put up a stellar CT-defense, quickly reaching match point at 15-9. It all came down a 1v1 but GamerLegion closed out Vertigo 16-9. Both teams exchanged map picks and levelled the series at 1-1, forcing it into the decider, Overpass.
Heroic won the pistol round starting off on the CT-side of Overpass but GamerLegion converted the anti-eco. Unfortunately for GamerLegion, things went downhill from there, as Heroic regained their form from map #1, showing why they're one of the best teams in the world. Dropping just a single round on the CT-side, Heroic closed out a 14-1 half on Overpass, within touching distance of the semi-finals, and a fitting revenge against GamerLegion (GamerLegion cut out Heroic from the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 in the semi-finals).
GamerLegion won their CT-pistol and converted a couple of follow-up rounds. Although it looked like GamerLegion were only denying the inevitable, Keoz managed to clutch a 1v3, keeping the match going at 14-5. Shutting down a couple of Heroic's full buys, GamerLegion reached 7-14, still looking at a near impossible uphill climb. It all came down to a 2v1 which GamerLegion lost to time, giving heroic their match and series point at 15-7, which Heroic converted to close out Overpass 16-7 and the series 2-1, eliminating GamerLegion.
