TheMongolz book EPL S19 spot

TheMongolz have completed the lower bracket run to make it into the Grand Finals of ESL Challenger League Season 47 Asia. With this result, the team has ensured their presence at the upcoming season of ESL Pro League, season 19.

TheMongolz were knocked into the lower bracket in the opening match of the playoffs by Newhappy in a dissapointing 2-1 loss. The team then went off against FyR and GR, both being 2-1 wins for Techno4k's side. That set them up for a rematch against Newhappy where they dominated the match in a 2-0 win.

Their final hurdle was Lynn Vision who had barely lost out to Tyloo in the Upper Bracket finals. TheMongolz started off the series strong with a 13-5 win on Inferno, but Lynn Vision kept their cool, outlasting their opponents in a 16-13 overtime affair. Jee was popping off for LV, but TheMongolz were performing far better individually across the board. bLitz's insane 1.40 rating was backed up by Senzu's 1.25 to carry their team to a 13-5 win to lock in the grand finals.

TheMongolz will now face off against Tyloo in the Grand Finals at 5:30 PM, Sunday. Whatever be the result, both teams have locked in their spot at EPL Season 19 and will compete in the massive 32 team event.
