The Aussies step back from Counter-Strike

VERTEX release Counter-Strike roster

Their Counter-Strike stint spanned over three years

VERTEX took to X to announce their withdrawal from the competitive Counter-Strike scene.

Having secured victories at CCT Oceania Series 1, 2 and runners-up finishes at CCT Oceania Series 3 and 4, VERTEX have had their share of success in 2023. Apart from those, VERTEX were a menace at qualifier events winning out qualifiers for IEM Dallas 2023, IEM Sydney 2023 and ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023.

VERTEX’s last roster move was bringing in Valiance to take over malta’s role towards the end of 2023. The Aussie org made a name for itself at local events and often gave top tier teams a run for their money at big events.

“Each and every one of you bought into our vision and represented our brand with pride and respect. Your dedication and initiative to grow (not only) our brand, but your own has been pleasure to be a part of.”
VERTEX Esports in their announcement
