New CS2 update noticeably improved VAC Live

Can CS2 Premier finally become playable again?

After months of enduring the cheating problem that has plagued CS2, which has even prompted numerous streamers to steer clear of Premier recently, it appears that Valve developers have finally roused from their slumber to address the problem.

Following the latest CS2 patch, numerous players have reported instances where matches were canceled upon the detection of a cheater, without any repercussions to their rating. This signifies a positive stride for Valve, given that Premier had essentially become unplayable, with cheaters in every game after reaching a particular rating.

Among other patches, developers fixed minor bugs and allowed more flexible customization to the scraping of applied stickers. You can find the release notes below:

MISC

  • Fixed a bug where bomb can sometimes disappear from the radar

  • Allow scraping or removing stickers by selecting the sticker icons under the weapon

  • Allow deleting empty storage units that have an assigned label

  • Fixed Workshop tools from crashing when compiling maps that contain instances
