Bad News Kangaroos outclassed by MOUZ
Groups C and D at ESL Pro League Season 19 kicked off with Australia's Bad News Kangaroos taking on defending champions MOUZ in the Group C upper bracket quarter-final.
BNK's pick of Vertigo got the series underway but the Australians failed to find any footing on their T side, with MOUZ starting 10-2 with an ADDICT 1v3 giving BNK their first. MOUZ eased to a 13-3 win, barely breaking a sweat in the second half, with Jimpphat going 23-6.
Brollan kicked off Mirage with a 1v2 for MOUZ on their pick of Mirage before pz's Scout saw BNK answer back on the force. MOUZ continued the force buy wars before gaining momentum to take a 8-4 lead as pz kept BNK in the game with a crucial 1v2 to close out the half. BNK put up a more competitive half on their T side, but MOUZ were too strong as they closed things out at 13-8. to secure an easy 2-0. It was Brollan on top of the scoresheets on Mirage, with the Swede dropping 24 kills with an ADR of 107.
