True Rippers fend off Marcos scare to lock in Grand Final Spot
In the Skyesports Championship 2024 Indian Closed Qualifiers, True Rippers locked horns with Marcos Gaming. The first map Mirage started with True Rippers establishing a strong 4-1 lead on their CT side. However, Marcos regained control with a flurry of rounds, turning the tide to win the map 13-7. Resoluxe led the scoreboard with an impressive 1.34 rating.
However, True Rippers' AWPer DayMake, who proved to be a nail in the sides of Marcso on the first map, continued his antics on the second map Nuke, as True Rippers only conceded 3 rounds on their CT side. While earning a 2.05 rating, DayMake ensured a 13-4 victory for True Rippers.
The final map took us to Anubis, that favoured True Rippers from the outset, as they established a 6-1 lead on their T-side. In an attempt to comeback, Marcos Gaming closed the gap to 7-5. However, getting past DayMake’s defensive AWP proved to be too tall an order for, as True Rippers clinched series win with a 13-8 scoreline on the final map.
