Official: m0NESY joins Falcons

m0NESY replaces degster

A day after winning their first CS2 LAN trophy, Saudia Arabian organisation Falcons have confirmed the signing of star Russian AWP-er m0NESY from G2. Earlier in the day, the team have announced that they had benched degster, whom m0NESY will be replacing.

m0NESY will be reunited with his former G2 teammate NiKo at Falcons and the Falcons will be the young Russian's second team after having made his Tier-1 professional debut with G2, back in 2022.

A member of the Natus Vincere (NAVI) Academy, m0NESY instantly shot to fame in his first year at the top tier of Counter-Strike, finishing as the seventh best player in 2022 and kept moving up, finishing as the fourth best player in 2023 and runner-up to donk as the second best player in 2024.

m0NESY was first linked with Falcons back in December 2024 and while Falcons took NiKo from G2, m0NESY's deal fell at the time. The move has been imminent and was recently confirmed that he will be joining Falcons ahead of the Austin Major 2025. Following their loss to Falcons at the PGL Bucharest 2025 final, G2's CEO confirmed that they have sold m0NESY.

m0NESY will be making his Falcons debut soon, as Falcons will be taking part in the upcoming IEM Melbourne 2025, which kicks off on April 21, 2025.

With m0NESY being confirmed by Falcons, the Falcons roster now is:

  • NiKo

  • kyxsan

  • Denmark TeSeS

  • Denmark Magisk

  • m0NESY

  • degster (Benched)

  • Denmark zonic (Coach)
