AMKAL locks in final Playoffs spot from Group B
Group B's final Playoffs spot came down to the AMKAL vs DMS encounter with the winner all set to secure a playoffs spot and the Russian derby saw the BO1 take place on Dust2.
It was a stellar defensive half from AMKAL that got things going 7-2 up before DMS managed to get a couple of rounds to end the half at 8-4 in favour of AMKAL. DMS picked up a crucial second pistol but AMKAL answered back with the force thanks to Sdaim and TRAVIS' Deagle openers and they closed it out quickly at 13-7. It was the trio of TRAVIS, Forester and Krad powered AMKAL to the Playoffs, dropping 20+ kills.
The win for AMKAL means they have booked their spot in the Playoffs from Group B, with Eternal Fire and 3DMAX already having confirmed their spots yesterday. Eternal Fire and 3DMAX will take on each other later today which will decide the final standings in Group B.
