Lynn Vision dropped to Last Chance Stage by HEROIC
One of the two Asian teams at the ESL Pro League Season 20, Lynn Vision took on HEROIC in the Group A lower bracket round game as both the teams were looking to avoid dropping to the Last Chance Stage after suffering losses on the opening day. While Lynn Vision went down to defending Major champions NAVI, HEROIC had an eventful loss to Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP).
The series kicked off on Dust2, the Chinese team's pick, with HEROIC stellar defense putting up 10 rounds. Lynn Vision almost pulled it all the way, falling short right towards the end, going down 10-13 with z4kr having a strong showing. Lynn Vision bounced back on Ancient, as z4kr and afufu helped the Chinese team put up a flawless T side after a tied opening half to lock in a 13-6 win.
The decider on Nuke started with HEROIC starting strong on their defensive half with a four round lead but a strong T side led by NertZ helped HEROIC pick up a 13-7 win to secure a 2-1 series win as well. The win keeps HEROIC alive in the lower bracket while Lynn Vision will face elimination against FlyQuest on Friday in the Group A Last Chance Stage.
