NAVI enter Intel Grand Slam contention

B1ad3 calls out EPL crowd

Turkish fans allegedly call out positions

The recently concluded ESL Pro League Season 20 saw a thrilling five map grand-final between NAVI and Eternal Fire. A tough back and forth game, eventually went in favor of NAVI, crowning them the champions at the event. NAVI's jL was awarded the tournament MVP for his 1.31 rating performance.

A day past the grand-final, NAVI's coach B1ad3 has taken to X to share his on-stage experience during their grand-final against Eternal Fire. B1ad3's post accuses the Turkish crowd of "crowd cheating" a common phenomenon in esports where the crowd indicate enemy positions to their choice of team. He mentions that the Turkish fans were about five meters away from the players and were calling out NAVI's positions in Turkish.

B1ad3 mentions that this was confirmed by people who spoke and understood the language. He even brings up the round where jL clutched a 1v3 post-plant and says that the crowd started making noises during the defuse.

Following up, he has added that the members of the crowd were warned multiple times but paid no heed and continued what they were doing anyways.
