Shanghai Major 2024 Playoffs - Team List

The Elimination Stage of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 has drawn to a close and we have the final 8 teams that have booked their slots for the playoffs.

Asian giants The MongolZ and Vitality were the first two teams to progress to the playoffs with an immaculate score. Liquid, Spirit and G2 were the next to follow, going through with a 2-1 record.

The rest of the teams however, had to go through a harder grind to qualify. MOUZ had a 1-2 start, courtesy of losses to FaZe and The MongolZ, but were able to best MIBR and 3DMAX in the Bo3s.

On the contrary, HEROIC, the second team in line to qualify, had a great start to the Elimination Stage, winning both of their Bo1s. While they faltered in the first two Bo3s against Spirit and The MongolZ, they defied odds to beat reigning champions NAVI to book their slot.

Finally, FaZe, as inconsistent as they have ever looked in recent memory, limped their way to the playoffs. But on the final day and the final game of the Elimination Stage of the playoffs, they got past FURIA to register themselves in the next stage.
