The MongolZ finish the year as Asia's undisputed best
The final HLTV rankings update for the year 2024 saw The MongolZ finish the year as Asia's best at #7 in the world rankings and #1 in the Asian rankings, closing out a historic year for bLitz and his boys, which saw them become the first Asian squad to make the Playoffs of a CS Major.
The MongolZ finishing 2024 at #1 in the Asian rankings means that they stayed at the top of the table in the Asian rankings throughout 2024 and the last time there was a team on top of the Asian rankings, which wasn't The MongolZ, was back in the December 11, 2023 ranking update, which had Lynn Vision at #1.
The Asia rankings saw Gods Reign finish the year at #13 in the Asian rankings and at #178 in the World Rankings. The other Indian team in the Asian rankings is VICTORES SUMUS, finishing the year at #18 in the Asian rankings and #226 in the World rankings. The Asian rankings has The MongolZ on top with Rare Atom, TYLOO, Lynn Vision and ATOX rounding out the top 5.
In Valve's Global ranking, The MongolZ finish inside the top 5, at #4 while Gods Reign are at #12 in the Valve Regional rankings - Asia. True Rippers, who currently don't have a Counter-Strike team, still have their roster present in the Regional rankings for Valve, and sit at the bottom of the Asian rankings at #26.
