The MongolZ sit at #3 in Global Standings

Important VRS update now out

The new VRS update decides invitees for five tier-1 events

Valve dropped a crucial Valve Regional Standings (VRS) update yesterday based on which invites are supposed to go out for five tier-1 Counter-Strike events in the coming months. These events include IEM Melbourne, Dallas; PGL Bucharest, BLAST Open Lisbon and YaLLa Compass Qatar.

Sitting at #3 in the global standings behind Spirit and G2, The MongolZ are pretty much set to receive invites for all these events. Having an Australian, a Pole, an Israeli and a couple of Canadians, Liquid are also featured in the Asian rankings and are placed at #2, above FlyQuest. The only other significant move in the Asian top 10 came from Rare Atom, as the Chinese dropped down by four places.

Indian team Gods Reign who were on the border of the top 10 at #11 have now dropped down to #14, as a result of their recent performances.

The recent VRS seems to have taken into account all the games up until the final commit. This includes games from IEM Katowice 2025 as far as the last few games from yesterday. Here's how invites are set to go out following the most recent VRS update:

BLAST Open Lisbon

  • Global Standings: Top 12

  • Asia/EU/NA/SA: Top 16 in each regional qualifier

PGL Bucharest

  • Global Standings: Top 12

  • 24 spots by NA/SA/EU in each regional qualifier + more in sub-regional Asia qualifiers

YaLLa Compass Qatar

IEM Melbourne
