IEM Dallas 2025 Asia Open Qualifier: Day 1 recap
The opening day at the IEM Dallas 2025 Asia Open Qualifier saw a total of 99 teams battle it out to take their first steps towards making it to IEM Dallas 2025. There were three Indian teams in the mix, as Gods Reign, Orgless5 and VICTORES SUMUS took part but after the opening four rounds on Day 1, all Indian teams had been sent home after a disappointing outing for the Indian teams.

Round 1 (BO1)
The opening round saw a host of Bye games and most of the expected teams sail through, including the Indian representatives of Gods Reign, Orgless5 and VICTORES SUMUS. Other teams like TYLOO, Rare Atom and Chinggis Warriors also breezed into the second round.

Round 2 (BO1)
The second round saw Indian heavyweights Gods Reign go down to Kindling Gaming on Train in a scrappy double overtime affair while the other two Indian teams, VICTORES SUMUS and Orgless5 picked up important wins to keep themselves afloat. The usual suspects like TYLOO, Rare Atom, IHC Esports, Chinggis Warriors also sailed through.

The fourth round marked the end of the road for the Indian teams in the IEM Dallas 2025 Asia Open Qualifier as Orgless5 were eliminated and it also threw up quite a few of surprising results as the likes of Chinggis Warriors, JiJieHao and Rare Atom were eliminated.

Tomorrow, February 8, 2025, will be the final day of the IEM Dallas 2025 Asia Open Qualifier as the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final takes place. The top two teams will move to the Closed Qualifiers, meaning a Grand Final spot will secure a Closed Qualifier spot.
The quarter-finals will be a BO1 encounter before switching to BO3s for the semi-finals and Grand Final. The action will kick off at 15:30 IST.
