BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025 Closed Qualifier Day 2: Recap
The second day of the BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025 Closed Qualifier saw six BO3s take place including Indian representatives, Gods Reign, in action.
Here's a look at how the games went.
Gods Reign kicked off the day against mixed Asian squad The Art of War. Gods Reign started off on their own pick of Train with a 13-5 win before closing things out on Inferno with another 13-5 to lock in a clean 2-0.
Middle Eastern squad JiJieHao got their Group A upper bracket semi-final against Australian squad Housebets going with a 13-2 hammering on Dust2, the pick of the Aussies. While Housebets fought back on JiJieHao's pick on Inferno and managed to push the map to overtime, a clean sweep in overtime saw JiJieHao close out the series with a 16-12.

Chinese squad Believe took down Australia's Mindfreak, who replaced KZG as the latter withdrew due to scheduling conflicts. Believe started with a 13-7 win on Mirage as Erye and 21cc stepped up and while the Australians fought back on Nuke, Believe hung on for a 13-10 win with L1nxiaoshan and Erye powering the Chinese team to a 2-0 win.
The Group D upper bracket semi-final saw yet another China - Australia clash as Just Swing took on DXA. Just Swing ran through the Australian squad 13-5 on Mirage before they stepped up the domination on their map pick on Nuke, going 13-2.

Rare Atom faced Fated Rise in the Chinese derby in the second Group A upper bracket semi-final with Rare Atom's stellar T side on Ancient turning around a 4-8 deficit to go 13-10. Fated Rise hit back on Inferno with a 13-8 win to tie up the series before Rare Atom closed out the series with a strong T side on Anubis, locking in a 13-8 win.
The final game of the day was the Down Under derby as Rooster faced SemperFi with SemperFi kicking off the series with a 13-10 on Rooster's pick of Mirage thanks to a nine-round T side to close out the map.
Rooster hit back on SemperFi's pick of Nuke with a strong defensive half that saw them tie up the series following a 13-7 win but on the decider on Anubis, Rooster lost steam as SemperFi ran away with a 13-5 win to take the series 2-1.

The Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket finals for the Groups will take place tomorrow with Gods Reign set to take on Chinese squad UR in their Group C upper bracket final encounter.
The top four finishers at the BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025 Closed Qualifier will make it to the BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025, which has the likes of Lynn Vision, TYLOO, ATOX and The Huns already waiting and the winner of that event will lock in a spot at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025.
