IEM Dallas Asia Closed Qualifier: Preview
The teams are locked in and IEM Dallas 2025's Asian closed qualifier is all set to begin tomorrow. TYLOO and The Huns have cleared the open qualifier, joining Lynn Vision and ATOX who secured direct invites to the closed qualifier based on the VRS. Indian teams struggled in the Asian open qualifier, with Orgless5 and VICTORES SUMUS putting up a modest three rounds run, as Gods Reign conceded their opening game.
The Asian closed qualifier puts four teams in a double-elimination bracket with all games running a bo3 setting. The winner heads into IEM Dallas 2025. The first round of games begin at 3:00PM IST tomorrow with TYLOO taking on ATOX and The Huns taking on Lynn Vision after which the upper and lower-finals follow at 7:00PM IST. The consolidation final and the grand final will take place the next day.
IEM Dallas 2025 will take place towards the end of May and will feature eight invited teams alongside eight qualified teams. Europe gets five slots through the qualifiers while Asia, NA and SA get one slot each. IEM Dallas 2025 begins with a double-elimination bracket across two groups and a six-team single-elimination playoffs will crown the winner.
