TYLOO nearly upset Spirit in EPL
The first game of the ESL Pro League Season 21 Stage 2 saw world #1, Spirit taking on Chinese team TYLOO. The first map took us to Anubis where Spirit performed as one would expect, pulling off an 8-4 T-side after conceding the initial couple of rounds, but what followed was absolute cinema.
Spirit won the pistol and anti-eco on the CT-side, pushing TYLOO further down but the Chinese went ballistic once the gun rounds began, as Jee and Attacker aggressively opened up sites for TYLOO, eventually levelling the score at 10-10. TYLOO even took a 11-10 lead with Spirit's economy in the bin but donk's individual brilliance pulls out of the hole once again, as Spirit held on and denied TYLOO's comeback, winning out the first map 13-11.
TYLOO kept things competitive in the first half of Nuke, going round for round and eventually ending the half 5-7 with a slight advantage for Spirit. After concededing the pistol and anti-eco in the second half, TYLOO denied Spirit the bonus round but once Spirit bought up, TYLOO stood no chance as Spirit locked down CT-Nuke, to finish the map 13-6 and take the series 2-0.
