The MongolZ invited to PGL Astana 2025

PGL has just revealed the direct invitees to the PGL Astana 2025, a $625,000 USD S-tier LAN in May 2025. The MongolZ have received a direct invite based on their Global VRS positioning. Twelve teams have received direct invites to the main event and four teams can book their slots through the qualifiers.

Chinese, Oceanic, MENA and Rest of Asian qualifiers culminate into the Asian qualifier. These sub-regional qualifiers lead into the closed qualifier which sends one team into the main event. More details about these qualifiers shall follow soon.

Starting on 10th May 2025, PGL Astana will feature sixteen teams in a Swiss system format with all games running as bo3s. The top eight teams will advance to a single-elimination bracket playoffs which concludes with a bo5 grand-final.
