Sloppy Gods Reign suffer another loss
It went from bad to worse as Gods Reign ended their latest round of games in ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific in a 0-2, suffering yet another big loss to Just Swing, this time dropping a strong 5-1 start on their CT half.
After a poor outing on Ancient, Gods Reign kicked off Inferno with the opening pistol on their defensive half. It was a much stronger defensive hold from the Indian team this time around with f1redup, R2B2 and Bhavi all finding impact early on along with Ph1NNN to see Gods Reign go 5-1 up. A couple of back-to-back B hits finally got the Chinese team's T side going as they quickly tied up the score at 5-5.
Six consecutive T rounds as Just Swing abused the B defence of Gods Reign saw them go on to take the lead at 7-5. Just Swing evened out the pistols on Inferno and it was 10 consecutive rounds from the Chinese squad as they hit double digits to go 11-5 before a f1redup triple helped Gods Reign get the first T round. After three consecutive rounds from Gods Reign, Just Swing on a low buy including a couple of MP9s saw double each from Marek and VanceKK that put them on match point and they wasted no time in closing the game at 13-8 to 2-0 their round of games against Gods Reign.
After the completion of the latest round of games between Gods Reign and Just Swing, Gods Reign stay in #13 place in the table with 3 wins from 12 games while Just Swing are in #7 place with 7 wins and 7 losses from 14 games.
