Vitality inch closer to Grand Slam

With yesterday's 3-0 over MOUZ, Vitality not only locked in their second ESL Pro League win but also marked their third title win in the ESL Pro Tour circuit's ESL Grand Slam (Formerly known as Intel Grand Slam) cycle. The French org is now first in line of contention for the $1,000,000 Grand Slam.

Vitality's other wins in the ESL Pro Tour circuit came at IEM Cologne 2024 and IEM Katowice 2025. Vitality needs only one more title win in the ESL Pro Tour circuit in their next five appearances. If Vitality pull it off, they become the fifth team to complete the Grand Slam. Astralis were the first team to pick up the Intel Grand Slam during their peak in 2017-18. Liquid, NAVI and FaZe went on to add to the tally in 2019, 2020 and 2023 respectively.

In the race for the current Grand Slam cycle are NAVI and MOUZ. NAVI are right behind Vitality with two ESL Pro Tour title wins and are left with six chances to complete the Grand Slam. MOUZ need three ESL Pro Tour title wins in their next three appearances to lock-in their Grand Slam win.
