Into the Breach stops crazy Brazilian comeback
Into the Breach took down 00NATION after an incredible series which saw them demolish 00NATION on the first map but almost bottled a 13-2 lead on Overpass. The British team eventually did manage to take the second map to overtime and secure the map and series in overtime. The win helps them book their place in the playoffs.
The first map of the series was Into The Breach's pick of Anubis and the British team were the one's to take the pistol and converted the following force buy and eco to go up 3-0. It was a strong T-side from Into the Breach with CYPHER continuing his strong recent form, finding crucial space for his team round after round and helped his team end the first half 12-3.
The British team managed to secure both pistols of the map and after that is was a flawless CT half as they closed out the game 16-3. CYPHER ended the map with 24 kills from 19 rounds and with a 2.09 rating.
CYPHER and Into the Breach picked up from where they left on Anubis as they took the pistol on 00NATION's pick of Overpass. The Brits were just out-dueling 00NATION and were up 7-0 before the Brazilians managed to post their first round. Into the Breach went one better from their first half of Anubis, as the closed out the opening half 13-2.
00NATION picked up the pistol in the second half and converted the force buy as well the following eco to get to 5 rounds. dumau gave the Brazilians their sixth courtesy an M4A4 ace on A site and that put them on a roll as they ended up tying up the score at 13-13 with 11 straight CT rounds. 00NATION eventually did mange to take the lead and secured two map points as well. Into the Breach though, woke up right at the end of the second half to make sure, they didn't go down in regulation.
00NATION started overtime on the CT half but it was Into the Breach who drew first blood in overtime. Into the Breach went flawless on their T half in the first overtime and finally did manage to close out the map 19-15. It was CYPHER once again on the top of the scoreboard for the Brits on Overpass, and he ended the series with a 1.57 rating.
