Monte stun FURIA
Monte's flawless CT-side inflicts 7-16 loss on FURIA on Ancient
Monte started off strong on the T-side of Ancient putting FURIA at an early 2-8 disadvantage. Thanks to arT's brilliance with the AWP and rifles towards to end, FURIA recovered to end the half on an even note, 7-8 slightly in favor of Monte.
Monte showed superior CT-side positioning and aggressive lane control in their early CT-side rounds and FURIA just couldn't find their way back after that. arT put up a valiant fight racking up 22 frags with a HLTV rating of 1.38.
The trio of kRaSnaL, sdy and BOROS finished with HLTV ratings of 1.35, 1.28 and 1.28 as Monte went on to win the match without dropping a single round on their CT-side, leaving FURIA devastated. Monte will now play in the 1-0 pool.
