Apeks too strong for Bad News Eagles
Apeks took down Bad News Eagles in a clinical manner as they now head into the 2-1 bracket at the Legends Stage.
The action got underway on Ancient with Apeks starting on the T half as they converted a 2v4 with nawwk coming in with a 1v1 to give Apeks the first round. Apeks converted their second 2v4 in the first gun round of the game as nawwk's quad kill saw Apeks take an early 4-0 lead. Bad News Eagles got their first round in the seventh round of the game and a rigoN ace saw BNE take three in a row to get the score at 6-3 in favour of Apeks. Impactful rounds from jL and kyxsan saw Apeks end the first half with a 10-5 lead.
Bad News Eagles took a much needed pistol to kick off the second half as SENER1 came in with a triple kill. jL's triple kill with the deagle saw Apeks keep their lead at five rounds after they won the force buy. jL and jkaem made sure Apeks kept racking up the rounds and a STYKO triple kill on the A site saw Apeks secure map point. Apeks closed out the map with relative ease at 16-6.
jL and jkaem were the heavy-hitters for Apeks as they ended with 24 and 20 kills respectively.
