RobbaN announces decision to part ways with FaZe

RobbaN parts ways with FaZe

Decorated coach says goodbye to FaZe

FaZe's coach Robert 'RobbaN' Dahlström has stepped down from his role as the coach of the FaZe Clan Counter-Strike team, as he looks forward for his next chapter after coaching.

A CS 1.6 professional who had stints with Ninjas in Pyjamas and SK Gaming, RobbaN joined FaZe in 2016 as their coach. Briefly between 2019 and 2021 he served as the team's manager and then returned to coaching duties in 2021. His second stint with the team has been extremely successful as RobbaN along with FaZe's in-game leader karrigan led the team to two ESL Pro League titles (S15 and S17), IEM Katowice 2022 and IEM Cologne 2022. Although he wasn't present behind the team during their PGL Antwerp Major 2022 win, the Swede has been instrumental and even saw FaZe lift the final Intel Grand Slam trophy in CS:GO history.

In his announcement message, RobbaN stated that he will announce details for his future plans soon. It is yet to be seen whether he takes up the coaching role once again or dons another hat.

FaZe kick off their BLAST Premier Fall Groups campaign against OG today.
