Responding right back, RE managed reclaim the following round, paving the way for a 3 round spree of their own. Nevertheless, GR ultimately dominated on the T side, not only restoring parity at 3-3 but also surging ahead to a 5-3 lead. As the first half drew to a close, their advantage extended to 9-6.

While securing 9 rounds while on the T-side is commendable, clinching the CT pistol round was anticipated to be the final nail in the coffin. However, to the surprise of many, GR faltered during this pivotal moments. A series of explosive rounds enabled RE to close the gap, transforming the score from 10-6 to 10-10.
