CS:GO went out with a bang

In its final week before undergoing a full rebrand, CS:GO topped the charts in viewership numbers as per data collected by ESPORTS CHARTS. From 25th September 2023 to 1st October 2023, CS:GO had a peak viewers count of 567,574 over 200,000 above the next entry in the list.

CS:GO’s all-time peak with regard to viewership numbers was recorded at PGL Stockholm 2021. The Major hit a peak viewership number at 2,748,434. CS:GO went out as the most popular esport in its final week, before the official servers were shut down permanently. The title was one of the most celebrated esports with a rich lore spanning across 11 years.
