woxic hints at Aurora taking a break after PGL Bucharest 2025

The ex-Eternal Fire roster go 6/6 in playoffs appearances in 2025

The former Eternal Fire roster, now playing under the Aurora banner has confirmed yet another playoffs appearance in 2025. Playoff runs have now become second-nature to the roster, making it their sixth playoffs appearance in 2025. The Aurora roster has reached playoffs in every single LAN they've played in 2025.

Aurora's playoffs confirmation came after their 2-0 win against Apogee in the 2-1 pool. Their only loss in the group stage came against 3DMAX who cleared the group stage from the 3-0 pool alongside G2. In the post match interview, when asked if the roster would take a break if they went on to win the event, Aurora's AWPer woxic said that the team were looking forward to a break regardless.

woxic's remarks about the team taking a break comes in wake of the fast approaching BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major. Aurora will start in the Stage 3 of the Major which begins on 12th June 2025.

Yes, if we not even win we will take a break.

Eternal Fire have had a busy 2025, travelling around the world for multiple LANs. When HLTV's Professeur asked woxic about the team's days off in relation to a question about tier 2-3 events in between, woxic mentions that the roster did not even have a week's break after the recent BLAST event. He goes on to say that their four-day break was practically two days when travel was accounted for.

PGL Bucharest 2025's group stage comes to an end today, determining the final two playoff entries. The MongolZ take on Falcons and FaZe take on Apogee for their two playoff berths. G2 and 3DMAX have put up flawless runs, Complexity, GamerLegion and Aurora have cleared the group stage with 3-1 records and Virtus.pro have scraped through from the 3-2 pool.
