
VICTORES SUMUS, THE crash out of MESA Nomadic Masters Asian Qualifier
VICTORES SUMUS vs DeepCrossGaming
In the MESA Nomadic Masters Asian Qualifier, VICTORES SUMUS started their campaign against DeepCrossGaming in the second round after getting a bye in the first round. After VICTORES SUMUS converted an 8-4 half into a 13-6 win off of a near-flawless second half on Anubis, DeepCrossGaming returned the favor on Dust2.
A ballistic 10-2 first half set the Thai team up for a 13-5 win, forcing the series into the decider. The decider took us to Inferno where VICTORES SUMUS secured a comfortable 13-4 win off of a 10-2 first half.




JijieHao vs VICTORES SUMUS
In the third round, VICTORES SUMUS took on JijieHao. JijieHao were coming in with back to back 2-0s over 14 years olds and just swing. The first map took us to Ancient where 0SAMAS put up a 111 ADR performance with 20 frags to his name, fetching JijieHao a 9-3 half. VICTORES SUMUS was able to secure just a single round in the second half, conceding the map 13-4. Just a single player on the side crossed double figures on Ancient.
Things went from bad to worse for VICTORES SUMUS heading into Dust2. The Indian side looked completely lost, getting mowed down by KingB and m1N1 round after round. JijieHao slid a massive 10-2 half in their favor and closed out Dust2 with pistol and anti-eco wins in the second half. The 13-2 win on Dust2 netted them another 2-0 in the qualifier and VICTORES SUMUS ended their campaign with just a single win.



THE vs MakeItDifferent
THE were set to face Evil Delivery in the opening round but a no-show from the latter sent them into the second round where they faced MakeItDifferent. THE were playing with ex-Gods Reign coach PokemoN and Indian players clouda and Crazy_Gamer. THE started the series with a 9-13 loss on Ancient failing to capitalize on a 7-5 lead.
A mind-blowing 122 ADR performance from PokemoN saw THE narrowly close out Anubis 13-11 after being 7-5 up at halftime. Going into the decider, THE fetched themselves a hefty 8-4 lead in the first half of Mirage but nearly fumbled the lead, letting a flurry of rounds slip by. However, THE regained momentum towards the end to close out Mirage 13-9 and move forward in the qualifier.




THE vs Team UO
In the third round, THE took on Team UO who were coming off of 2-0s over Majestic Gang and BrainDeadBoys. The first map of the series took us to Mirage where Sange and clouda lead the charge, securing an 8-4 half in THE's favor. Dropping just a single round in the second half, THE closed out Mirage 13-5. Team UO forfeit the second map which was supposed to be Dust2, giving THE a 2-0 series win and a quarter-final slot.


ScarX vs THE
In the quarter-final, THE finally met their match in ScarX. ScarX, the Iranian team quite literally entailed ranks #1 through #5 in the Iranian region. The first map took us to Mirage where THE ended up with another 7-5 advantage in the first half. Pistol and anti-eco losses in the second half, set THE back as ScarX leapt up and closed out Mirage 13-11.
Anubis played out similarly for Scarx as the THE fetched yet another 7-5 lead in the first half. The Iranian side dropped just a couple of rounds in the second half, going 8-2 to close out Anubis 13-9 and knock THE out of the MESA Nomadic Masters Asian Qualifier in the quarter-final.



With Eruption's win over SUBUTAI, ScarX's win over THE, JijieHao's win over SemperFi and LFO's win over Team Aquile, the semi-finalists are locked in. The semi-finals will take place tomorrow and continue to run the bo3 system. The winner of this single-elimination bracket heads into the main event, MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025.
